A very big Welcome to you all! If you have come over from my old site, I thank you. Please keep visiting here. The old blog will stay up for reference.
If you are new, the link to it is on this blog.

If you are new, I am Runningonempty, I am married to Hubby, and Acerules is my daughter. I sometimes use guest posters, leave a note in the comments section if you’re interested in writing.

Please, all be patient because I am still trying to figure out this new site.

———————————————The first batch of photographs are from early October, when Acerules and I visited the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne, Victoria. The Shrine was completed in the 1930s to commemorate Australians that died in the Great War (WW1).

This second batch of photos was taken after a Remembrance Day ceremony in our district on 11 th November. It was 100 years since Armistice Day, when WW1 ended. Locals crocheted poppies decorated with buttons.

Here is the link to an old post of mine that shows a ceremony at the same local memorial.

  1. Hi Cath! I too found your new blog. I love the bright colors. Your photos are excellent. I especially like the ceiling on that building in the first batch. Good luck and continued success on this new blog.
